From as far I can remember I has always been my ambition to become a pilot.

My first flight was when I was 5, I was bring up there with my father and a friend of his for the first time. Even if that was a long time ago, I can still remember how exhilarate I was. I felt totally at home.

I flew the aircraft for what seemed hours, it was like an endless day. I can remember my father's face as I looked at him and said: Dad, I'm flying. I'm flying a plane.

From those sensations, my whole life revolved around aircraft. It was all I lived for.

Later, in secondary school, I spent my all weekends flying radio-controlled gliders and airplanes with friends.

Finally I was selected by the Air Force to train as a pilot and that was the best day of my life. My family was so proud of me because after all these years, my dream had come true.

After 21 years in the Air Force, which were fantastic, filled with knowledge and human connection. I learned so much. And now I can dedicate those to my First new civilian Airline, Air Madagascar.

Hello

My name is Boris Fliniaux.

I would like to introduce myself.

I am 40 years old, married and have two children.

I started my first job at the age of 17. I worked as a refuse collector, during the holidays, to pay for my driving lessons and licence. The 2 years after, still during the holidays, I worked as a waiter/barman in a brasserie.

After that, at the age of 20, I worked as a cook, waiter and cashier at McDonald's, so that I could buy my first car.

When I graduated my Scientific Baccalauréat, I joined the Police in order to serve my country.

I was recruited into the French Air Force, at the age of 22, and became a transport pilot.

For nine years I flew with the French VIP Squadron on Nord Aviation N262 and Socata TBM700. As captain of these aircraft, I welcomed many Generals and Government Ministers on board.

Then I flew an Airbus A340-200 for the Estrel French Squadron for 6 years.  Our missions was to transport Air Force, Navy and Army personnel wherever they have to be deployed on external operations, and some others.

We travelled worldwide wherever there is a French interest, to places such as Noumea in French New Caledonia, Djibou and La Reunion to name a few.

Since summer 2018 I Fly as Captain on Airbus A340-300 for Air Madagascar.

Please feel free to ask for as much further information as you feel necessary.

Thank you.
